Kathrin Romany Beckinsale, born 26 July 1973.[1][2][3] Kathrin Romany Beckinsale is an English actress. Her debut in film came after the appearance of a couple of small television parts. She was an Oxford University student when Much Ado About Nothing (1993). Beckinsale appeared in British costume dramas like Prince of Jutland (1994), Cold Comfort Farm (1995), Emma (1996), Shooting Fish (1997) (a contemporary romantic crime comedy) as well as The Golden Bowl (2000), in addition to various stage and radio productions. Beckinsale was the first actress to make a film in the United States in late 1990s. After appearing in smaller-scale dramas The Last Days of Disco (1998) and Brokedown Palace (1999), she appeared in the war drama Pearl Harbor (2001), the romantic comedy Serendipity (2001) as well as Tiptoes (2003). After her appearances in The Aviator (2004) & Click (2006) in which she was in the role of herself. She was a major star in Hollywood by playing roles in The Aviator (2004) and Click (2006). In addition, she has appeared in smaller dramatic films like Snow Angels (2007) and Nothing but the Truth (2008). For her two debut films she received favorable reviews. In 2016, she was awarded critical acclaim for her performance in the period comedy film Love & Friendship, for which she received a nomination for the Critics Choice Award for the Best Actress in a Comedy. Jolt (1921) was her first film that brought her back to action films. She was also in two television shows featuring Jolt (2021) and The Widow (202019).
