Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on the 28th of April, 1967). Wuhrer's career began as she was a teenager. Her most famous performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a officer and dealer in cars). She has 3 siblings. She began singing in club nights as a teenager. She was known to sneak away from her house to sing. At the Wooster School, at the age of thirteen, she began studying drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous instructor Uta Hagen. She took drama classes in Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College College, plus the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher known as Uta. Kari began acting when she was when she was in her teens, her first break on television coming on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
