Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model is now a retired actor. Elson, who began in acting as child model/actress and then as professional actress, is most well-known for her role in the role of Alice Tyler as seen on the science-fiction drama show on CBS. Andrea auditioned for the lead role in ALF the hit 1986 show. She was a finalist. The actress was a regular on various television shows and Movies of the week before she decided to retire from the entertainment industry. Andrea Elson played Lynn Tanner in ALF as the teen daughter from Kate as well as Willie. People magazine published a retrospective of her career back in the year 2000. Elson said growing up as a girl in the spotlight was not simple. In New York City in 1969 Elson grew up in a world of traveling because her father was a salesman who traveled. By the time she was 10-years-old, Andrea had already been traveling to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. Andrea found an agent located in San Diego and won her audition to play the role she wanted for her debut. Fusco explained that ALF was a tycoon aged 285 and could be a drinker. ALF was becoming more and more well-known among kids and so NBC advised Fusco that he shouldn't drink since kids were watching. ALF is not a good role model. Fusco was still convinced that ALF was an adult, and could handle the drinking. His lymphoma was first diagnosed in 1995. He underwent successful treatment and went into complete remission through the year 2019. In June of 2019, aged 75, he died of cancer at the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood in New Jersey.
