Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu, an American voice actress producer director and singer is also an actress. An intelligent and attractive actor, she is an inspiration for numerous Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. Through a succession of appearances in various popular television series she gained fame by joining the cast of the show Legal Comedy Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. Her fame exploded into movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the meantime, she also took on leading roles in several movies that were not a success at the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated movies like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's part was in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen feature, failed to result in any satisfactory results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring part in the show helped Liu establish her role as an actress. Liu takes her time choosing roles so as to prevent being stereotyped in the field that is competitive. Though she's proud of her heritage, she does not let that limit her creativity.
