Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an native of Argentina with Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother hails from Spanish and English descent. Taylor Joy is the youngest of four siblings, one in each parent's prior marriages. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatic and she did not learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Her school had to change from Northlands to Hill House. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to pursue acting as a career. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her dream came true when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
